Control Strategy for Electric Startup of P2.5-PHEV Based on Slope Memory and Driver’s Startup Intention

P2.5 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (P2.5-PHEVs) exhibit high transmission efficiencies and no power interruption in the shifting mode switching process; thus, they have broad application prospects. The a PHEV under pure startup does not entail clutch, initial torque of motor is often set condition that maximum allowable slope should lead to backward sliding, which leads problems excessive jerk small-slope catapulting when occurs downhill. optimal method different torques according gradients; however, vehicle would still be pre-startup stage, making it impossible estimate using dynamic method. In view foregoing problems, an analysis dynamics, slope-memory-based strategy for estimating storing during movement before parking proposed.
